Vienna, December 10, 2014 - Great honor for Coca‑Cola Hellenic: The 0.33 l deposit glass bottles now carry the Austrian Ecolabel. Coca‑Cola Hellenic has established itself as a model business for sustainability by implementing many energy-saving initiatives and measures.
Since the relocation to the new production and logistics center in Edelstal last year, Coca- Cola Hellenic has implemented many sustainable initiatives in the field of production. The company now receives several honors for this commitment: As of now, the 0.33-liter deposit bottles of Coca‑Cola, Coca‑Cola light, Coca‑Cola zero, Fanta, Sprite and Mezzomix for the hospitality industry carry the Austrian Ecolabel.
“Sustainable business activity and responsible handling of our resources have been vital in our company philosophy for many years. Römerquelle has been carrying the Austrian Ecolabel for almost 20 years and received the environment award as one of the first companies. We are very proud that other glass bottles in our range received this environmental label,” says Jozsef Tarsoly, General Manager of Coca‑Cola Hellenic Austria.
This summer, Coca‑Cola Hellenic Austria released its first sustainability report in which the company shows in a transparent way how it takes over responsibility as an active member of the society, important employer in the region and reliable business partner.
