Starting with March 13, the signatures of Coca‑Cola HBC Austria employees will come with a new address. After production was relocated from Wienerberg in Vienna’s Favoriten district to Edelstal in Burgenland, the employees of the Vienna location are now moving into new, modern and communicative offices at the Business Park Vienna.

For more than 60 years, the Coca‑Cola HBC building has been a unique symbol at the city entrance of Triesterstraße. After many decades the time for a change has come. Frank O’Donnell, General Manager of Coca‑Cola HBC Austria, said, “The foundation stone for today’s location in Vienna was laid 62 years ago. What started with 21 employees and four trucks turned into the headquarters of today’s company over the years since 1955. Five years ago, we relocated bottling to the state-of-the-art manufacturing and logistics center in Edelstal. This measure was taken to make necessary investments possible and to implement expansions to safeguard the location which would not have been possible in Vienna. Overall, we invested more than EUR 65 m in the Edelstal location.” Now, a new era for the employees at the Vienna location is about to start. O’Donnell is looking forward to moving into the new work environment: “With the relocation to our new offices at the Business Park Vienna, we will start a new chapter in the history of Coca‑Cola HBC Austria. Although we will actually just move to the other side of the road, our work environment will – more than ever - be a place of working together.”

On an area of about 6,300 sqm, the 360 Vienna based employees of Coca‑Cola HBC Austria will now find working space on three different floors. Frank O’Donnell explained, “We are creating a modern work environment which promotes interaction and teamwork more effectively thanks to an Open Space concept. There will be many different communication areas. One of the highlights: the Coke Corners which are supposed to encourage inter-divisional cooperation.”

Christian Traunfellner, Country Manager Operations Austria of IMMOFINANZ welcomes the new tenants: “We are happy that Coca‑Cola HBC has decided to become another renowned major tenant at the Business Park Vienna. To us, this is an important confirmation of our strategy – we constantly adapt our offer to the increased requirements of tenants concerning ‘tomorrow’s world of work’. Our focus is on the well-being and convenience of our tenants and their employees.”

T.O.C. Tecno Office Consult was entrusted with the implementation. Executive partner Ewald Johannes Stückler appreciates the successful cooperation with Coca‑Cola HBC: “The implementation of such a complex building project in record time and naturally within the budget targets can only be done if all people and companies involved cooperate well and on eye level. We consider this as a lighthouse project of our consultancy work for owner-builders and are proud to have contributed to this success.”
