Respectful Together

We believe that the more diverse a team is, the better. This is because only through diversity, innovative ideas, which inspire our customers day after day, can emerge.

As an employer, we at Coca-Cola HBC benefit greatly from the skills, experience, and commitment from the diverse people who work with us. That is why we are committed to creating an environment in which all our employees feel valued and respected, thus, to achieve that, we proactively promote the topics of diversity and inclusion. This is the only way we can optimally recognize the needs of our customers, who are just as diverse and individual as our team, and always offer them innovative solutions.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION AT COCA-COLA HBC AUSTRIA.

Diversity is a fact. It describes the variety of the members of a group in terms of various characteristics and in this way reflects the mix of talents within our team. Inclusion means making this mix work. It is a behaviour which focuses on including, understanding, and valuing every employee for who they are. Only this way we can succeed in recognizing and using the talents, skills, and knowledge within the company.

COME AS YOU ARE. MORE THAN A NAME.

“Come As You Are” is the name of our internal network, which is committed to integrating diversity and inclusion into all levels of our company. It is chaired by our General Manager and co-chaired by two members of the Senior Leadership Team. The other members come from different business areas and positions and bring a wide range of knowledge, networks, and insights with them in the course of their voluntary commitment.

OUR COMPANY CULTURE.

To successfully integrate diversity and inclusion into our corporate culture, we rely on a mix of concrete corporate goals combined with internal and external measures, supported by our "Come As You Are" network. We measure the success of our measures through feedback from our employees, external certifications and through the exchange in diversity networks of our partners.

To include all employees in our efforts to create an inclusive work environment, we regularly offer internal workshops and learning opportunities. It is also important for us to implement initiatives to highlight relevant topics and challenges. This includes, for example, on addressing the issue of "unconscious bias", which are stereotype-laden, thought patterns that influence us unconsciously and can often impair equal opportunities. So, we strive together for regular self-reflection in our everyday work and continue to develop in this important area.
