Jasmins Story: My path has just begun

What fascinates me about Customer Logistics? The spontaneity and cross-functional cooperation across many departments of the company. The fact that no two working days are alike is equally appealing and a challenge.

I support what I stand for - and that includes the products from Coca‑Cola. That's why I applied to Coca‑Cola HBC Austria. I was positively surprised how quickly the application process was completed: I applied in November, was accepted in December and by February 2019 I was already a new member of the Customer Logistics department at the headquarters in Vienna.

As a Customer Logistics Specialist, I act as an interface between our retail customers and our supply chain or commercial team. The Customer Logistics Team takes care of the satisfaction of major customers and the logistical challenges within the supply chain. This includes regular customer visits, but also process screening and optimization.

What I love about my job is that I can work with so many different people. From our forklift truck drivers at the Edelstal plant to our logistics managers and our customers.


The great variety - combined with the fact that I am also working directly on site in our production and logistics centre or with customers - makes my work unique.

The biggest challenge in my job? Process changes. In other words, if an existing process is to be optimized. Here it is not only necessary to shine on the implementation side, but also to get all those involved on board accordingly.

The most important thing I have learned in my time here so far is that communication between departments must be right. I need a basis and contact persons that I can rely on. Therefore, I would also advise every new team member: Familiarize yourself with your work environment and get to know your colleagues - also from other departments. This way, you know who the best contact person for specific questions is and everyone else knows what’s your own area of expertise. Networking is in demand throughout the company!
