To ensure the highest quality and safety of our products, we are continuously making physico-chemical, sensory and microbiological analyses. The ongoing improvement of our analysis methods and the further training of our team form the basis of our success and our further development in the area of quality assurance. All employees at Coca-Cola HBC Austria are responsible for quality and contribute to maintaining it at the highest possible standard.
Traceability is the be-all and end-all in food production. It must be ensured that it is always possible to determine which raw materials have been used for our products and which customers have received our products. We achieve this through so-called "batch labeling" on our beverages. As part of this labeling, each individual bottle is given a best-before date and a batch code.
This makes it possible to determine at any time when and from which raw material this bottle was produced and who received it. This is an extremely relevant factor in the event of product or packaging complaints.
The quality of our products is regularly tested and confirmed by Austrian and regional authorities and the Agency for Health and Food Safety AGES. In addition to internal control mechanisms, Austrian authorities quickly take appropriate samples at the production site in order to confirm product safety.
